Diabetes Prevention Research Group

The Diabetes Prevention Research Group (DPRG) at UBC Okanagan is a multidisciplinary team working to develop, evaluate, and implement evidence-based strategies for preventing type 2 diabetes in Canadian communities.

Through collaboration with YMCAs, health authorities, Diabetes Canada, and funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the DPRG is scaling the SSBC program to reach communities across the country.
