What is Small Steps for Big Changes?

Thinking about making a change? SSBC offers one-on-one support to help you stay active and lower your risk of type 2 diabetes.

Personalized Support

You'll meet one-on-one with a trained coach for six sessions. Your coach will help you set goals that fit your life, your schedule, and what matters most to you.

Community-Based

SSBC is offered through YMCAs across Canada, making it easy to join a program in a welcoming and familiar community space.

SSBC is not about strict rules or fast results. It's about making small changes you can stick with over time to support your long-term health.
